2016 marks 50 years in whisky for Master Distiller Richard Paterson, a milestone also marked by a number of special releases of The Dalmore. This 35 year old has been careful maturation in three different woods over the 35-year period to release the full potential of this whisky, it was matured in Bourbon, Matusalem Sherry and Colheita Port casks. Presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter bottle, the stag is produced by Royal Warrant-holding Scottish silversmiths Hamilton & Inches.

Nose: Crushed almonds, coffee mousse, soft liquorice and ginger bread.

Palate: Dark treacle cake, banana bread and freshly ground coffee.

Finish: Roasted chestnuts, raisins and intense orange peel.
