Distillers Tasting Notes.

Nose: Rich and complex, balanced between nutty character and sweetness with initial notes of roasted hazelnuts, leather, fresh pipe tobacco, dark chocolate and oak spices, followed by dark maple syrup, liquorice and charred peaches, with a background of Crème Auglaise, bergamot in syrup and subtle sandalwood and lightly peated notes.

Palate: Roasted chestnuts, honey sweet with rich toffee, grilled seville orange zest and dry thyme, with sultanas, oak spices, velvety milk chocolate and peat smoke.

Finish: Velvety mouthcoating, then mouth warming with a long drying finish of light medicinal and peat smoke.
